I am hesitant to say it, but I think spring has sprung here - finally! Just two weeks ago, we had light snow, but hopefully that was a fluke!
Soccer is in full swing for Hunter, McKenzie starts horseback riding tomorrow and Ellee is growing like crazy. We are all getting ready for our vacation - we leave in less than two weeks! I'm not sure who is more excited to be getting away - the parents or the children. We are heading to Walt Disney World where McKenzie can finally meet up with "Rella." She has the dress, crown and shoes ready for her birthday dinner with her fellow princess and every time we mention it, she just squeals with excitement.
In fact, I put up a temporary, paper Cinderella in the girls' room as we countdown for the trip and McKenzie talks to it everyday. I'm sure it will be a wild moment when she truly comes face-to-face with a moving, talking Cinderella - be on the lookout for pictures.
After a week at Disney, we're going to the beach for three days to recover from our days of walking, standing in line and did I mention walking? I am so excited about that part of the trip as I miss being near the coast. There's just something renewing and peaceful about sitting there watching the water roll in and out. However, I am sure it won't be as peaceful as I am dreaming with three children alongside, but it will be nice in a different way.
Well, one is about to wake up, and the other is already up so I better cut it short!
Have a great day!
Jenny
